About this role: 
Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and talented technician to join our High Voltage (HV) Capacitors development team. In this role, this person will have the opportunity to coordinate and support builds and assist with PV&V deliverables. This person will be partnering cross-functionally to develop and transfer new products from concept to commercialization. The successful candidate for this position will be self-motivated, technically strong, solid communication skills, ability to multitask, and detail oriented. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn new skills and work closely with Process Development engineers to complete tasks.

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Coordinate and support new product development HV Capacitors builds
  • Modify existing and/or develop new tooling and fixtures. Complete the required documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Work with engineers on new product development deliverables and continuous improvement projects.
  • Assists engineers with qualification and validation studies & reports by collecting, compiling, measuring, organizing and recording data, and by writing procedures.
  • Assist in writing validation plans, executing plans and completing validation reports.
  • May assist in training and providing technical support or direction to product builders.
  • Create strong relationships with internal and external customers to ensure project success.

 

Required qualifications: 

  • 1 year with AA degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience 
  • Proven record of working closely and successfully with manufacturing and process development engineers
  • Basic understanding of medical device documentation requirements
  • Great attitude and strong desire to learn new skills
  • Proficient in MS Office.

 
Preferred qualifications: 

  • Process Development background
  • Medical Device regulation experience 
  • HV Capacitors background
