Boston Scientific is seek a Project Specialist II to join us in advancing science for life.  


The individual in this role will work under the guidance of an IT Project Manager or IT Project Lead and support all project lifecycle phases of IT Acquisition Integration (ITAI) projects, from initiation to closure.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closure of projects according to confirmed timelines, approved budgets, and internal processes
  • Facilitate project update meetings and capture meeting minutes; document, assign ownership to and follow-up on action items, open decisions, risks and issues
  • Create and maintain appropriate supporting project documentation and artifacts, including budgets, plans, status reports, decision/issue logs and risk registers
  • Gather and analyze project data and performance indicators to identify and manage negative trends, project dependencies and critical path tasks
  • Ensure system and related processes comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to the BSC Global Systems Methodology (GSM), where applicable
  • Identify and escalate unresolved project obstacles, and facilitate problem-solving sessions to resolve issues and unknowns


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional project management experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management tools and techniques
  • Experience with collaboration and project management software (e.g., Office365, Microsoft Project)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • IT/Software experience
  • PMP certification
  • Experience working in a cross-functional, highly matrixed business organization
  • Experience working on M&A integration projects
  • Experience in a medical device or a highly regulated environment 
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
