The Electrophysiology (EP) Design Quality Assurance team is seeking an entry-level engineer to support the evaluation of manufacturing and design changes across a broad portfolio of EP capital equipment used to enable ablation and diagnostic procedures. As the EP portfolio continues to expand, timely and thorough assessment of design changes is critical to maintaining product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
This role offers broad visibility across the Research and Development organization and provides hands-on collaboration with Manufacturing, Product Complaints, Regulatory, and Field Service Engineering teams. It is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to build a strong foundation in design quality, with potential growth paths into computer programming, cybersecurity, risk management, or electrical design.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:

Interface with Research and Development, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, Marketing, and Manufacturing functions within a project team environment

Continually seek opportunities to drive product and process improvement
-
Implement, maintain, and update procedures to ensure R&D documentation complies with Boston Scientific’s Product Development Process and design control requirements

Provide quality review support for defined design reviews, project design plans, risk management activities, and design verification and validation protocols and reports for new product development and design or process changes
-
Summarize, analyze, and interpret test results or process-related findings to support data-driven decision-making
-
Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with applicable quality system requirements

Coach and support others in the analysis of electrical designs

Provide design guidance for sustaining engineering projects

Support test development activities, including evaluation of design reliability
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering

Ability to fulfill work responsibilities on-site as required by the hybrid work model
Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and electrophysiology

Experience with circuit simulation applications
-
Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit design

Hands-on experience working with electronic components and systems

Understanding of complex electrical engineering concepts

Ability to troubleshoot and identify electrical component failures

Ability to independently manage and drive project work to defined delivery timelines
