Quality Manager - Complaint Investigation Site (CIS), Electrophysiology

 

About This Role:

The CIS Manager will lead a team within the Electrophysiology (EP) Quality division, responsible for performing in-depth technical analysis and trending of product complaints as part of the post-market quality process. This role will be the key liaison between the CIS team and cross-functional partners, including R&D, Manufacturing, Design Assurance, and Supplier Quality, to drive initiatives that enhance product quality, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement.

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team, guiding staff in achieving individual and organizational goals, providing training, and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where all members can reach their potential.
  • Drive quality projects of major magnitude and scope, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with BSC policies and procedures, ensuring that resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are adequately maintained to meet Quality Policy standards.
  • Determine appropriate staffing levels and schedules, working with partners to understand priorities, allocate resources effectively, and recruit top talent for the CIS team.
  • Own and drive deliverables related to quality systems, product quality, and compliance, while maintaining adherence to Global Corporate Metrics for complaint investigations.
  • Provide support for CIS Technicians and/or Engineers on technical related problem-solving activities, guidance on complaint investigation processes, etc. to drive efficient & effective investigations of complaints on Boston Scientific EP products.   

 

What We’re Looking For In You:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, product quality, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems within the medical device industry
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Electrophysiology products
  • Familiarity with BSC complaint handling processes and/or systems
  • Supervisory experience

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
