About the role:
At Boston Scientific, advancing science for life requires seamless execution in the field. The Sales Administrative Assistant III plays a critical role by providing advanced operational, project, and administrative support to the Area Vice President(s) (AVPs). This role serves as a trusted partner to regional leadership, ensuring alignment of daily activities with strategic business priorities.
You will work closely with field sales teams, district leaders, and corporate partners to enable operational efficiency, strengthen business execution, and support customer-facing initiatives. With a blend of project management, reporting, and high-level administrative skills, you’ll help drive the success of our sales organization while representing the AVP with professionalism and discretion.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Serve as the strategic gatekeeper for AVP(s), managing complex calendars, prioritizing requests, coordinating travel, and ensuring timely communications.
• Partner with district leaders and regional managers to track progress on field initiatives, monitor sales performance, and ensure compliance deliverables are met.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide actionable insights to leadership and support decision-making.
• Coordinate area and regional meetings, including logistics, agendas, and follow-up, as well as customer-facing programs and field team events.
• Manage complex expense reporting for AVP(s) and regional managers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Anticipate needs, proactively identify issues, and resolve challenges to enable the AVP(s) to focus on strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support field operations, communications, and business execution initiatives.
• Represent the AVP(s) with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and judgment in all interactions.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Minimum of 5 years' experience supporting senior leadership, preferably in a sales or field-oriented environment
• Strong proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and digital productivity tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work with discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience supporting sales leaders or executives in a matrixed organization
• Advanced reporting and data analysis skills, with the ability to translate insights into meaningful recommendations
• Strong business acumen and understanding of field sales operations
