About the role

In this role you will be responsible for managing the internal sales communications strategy for the Rhythm Management  business unit for Boston Scientific. From working with executive leadership to articulate priorities, to defining communication platforms and frequency, we are seeking a thought partner and strategic counselor to business leaders and cross-functional teams who can develop the strategy and drive implementation of critical communications programs.


Your responsibilities will include:

Sales Communications

  • Development and management of primary communication platform; including management of relevant content strategy and processes
  • Develop, maintain and execute content calendar for all RM sales communication activities
  • Ensure a consistent and coherent voice in all communications that align with business priorities and values
  • Measurement, analysis and continuous improvement of all communications programs
  • Development and communication of annual and quarterly priorities
    • Strong working relationships with sales leadership and marketing
    • Development of annual theme and messaging
    • Production of quarterly priorities
    • Production of annual playbook
  • Writing, production and distribution of weekly communications
    • Knowledge of business activities and franchise priorities
    • Ability to gather and prioritize content
  • Write Scripts and help with presentation production for sales leadership
  • Communication consultation


What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 years of communications experience within a corporate or agency environment. Health care experience – particularly within the life sciences industry – is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrates broad experience developing and executing strategic communications plans and correlating metrics while managing competing priorities.
  • Regarded as a proven and respected communications consultant to key leaders within an organization.
  • Demonstrates business acumen and fluency in topical health care news and industry
  • Demonstrates effective writing style, high-impact messaging and in-depth understanding of targeted communications amongst varying audiences. Ability to articulate complex information in simple and relatable terms.
  • Performs as a self-motivated, solutions-oriented communications professional who will recommend innovative communications approaches and take initiative in a fluid and fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibits highly organized, detail-oriented work style with outstanding follow-through skills.
  • Possesses excellent oral communication skills and has experience extending communication efforts via social media platforms and digital tools.
  • Adept at working in a team environment while also displaying independence, initiative and enterprise; ability to maintain high productivity while balancing tight deadlines.
