The Salesforce.com (SFDC) Product Owner – DTP Program will apply a thorough understanding of Salesforce.com to collaborate with business functions in the creation of new capabilities in SFDC to further improve call center performance and effectiveness within a fast-growing, innovative medical device sales and marketing organization. This role will act as a Product Owner supporting the AFS Direct to Patient Program and Call Center team and will have a strong connection to digital enablement and marketing partners within the AFS business.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:

● Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Call Center, Marketing, Digital Enablement and IT, to identify and define problems; collect and analyze data; evaluate current processes and procedures; prioritize business needs; and collaborate to create Salesforce.com solutions to meet those needs.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a strategy and capability roadmap.

● Establish business value and priority for requirements through rapid engagement, piloting and iteration.

● Understand the voice of business users and business processes.

● Write and shepherd user stories through the intake process and work with the IT Center of Excellence through the production development process.

● Act as the product owner on a scrum team consisting of technical leads, developers and a scrum master, leading the team in requirements gathering, prioritization and testing of new features.

● Work with call center and front-end website teams to understand and prioritize the needs of IT and Salesforce.com systems.

● Collaborate with site and divisional IT-business teams to ensure Salesforce.com resource support, including strategic planning and Annual Operating Plan alignment.

● Perform formal user acceptance testing.

● Collaborate on the creation, implementation and monitoring of success metrics.

● Participate with the CMDE team in global design and use discussions at both project and program levels.

● Stay current on new Salesforce.com features, functionality and application capabilities to address business requirements.

● Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 user support in collaboration with the analyst team and escalate and manage unresolved issues.

● Conduct primary research to understand business drivers and uncover business opportunities to facilitate planning and execution of the Salesforce.com engine.

● Train the call center team on new Salesforce.com features, data quality standards and new integrations.

● Work with cross-functional teams on application integrations with the Salesforce platform that complement the ecosystem.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field; MBA preferred.

● Minimum of 2 years' experience in business, operations or process improvement, with IT or sales experience preferred.

● Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Salesforce.com product owner role.

● Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an Agile framework, with product owner experience preferred.

● Strong data analysis skills with the ability to collect and analyze business information and draw accurate conclusions.

● Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex business operations challenges.

● Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and develop business cases.

● Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to positively impact business performance.

● High sense of urgency and commitment to execution.

● Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels; sales training experience a plus.

● Effective presentation skills.

● Ability to influence change across a national field team.

● Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

● Experience working with CRM platforms and within the call center industry.

● Advanced reporting skills, including expert-level Excel proficiency and strong understanding of complex data structures and analysis.

● Salesforce certification(s).

● Experience with multiple Salesforce.com cloud platforms, including Marketing Cloud, Communities and Service Cloud.

● Financial experience, including budget analysis and value definition.

● Process improvement experience, including Six Sigma.

● Medical device industry knowledge.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
