The Salesforce.com (SFDC) Product Owner will apply their thorough understanding of Salesforce.com to collaborate with business functions in the creation of new capabilities in SFDC to further improve sales performance within a fast-growing, innovative medical device Sales and Marketing organization. This role will act as a product owner supporting the Cardiology division, with a specific focus on Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and Interventional Solutions (IS).

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:

● Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, Operations and Finance to identify and define problems; collect and analyze data; evaluate current processes and procedures; prioritize business needs; and collaborate to create SFDC solutions

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a strategy and capability roadmap

● Establish business value and priority for requirements, including rapid engagement, piloting and iteration

● Understand the voice of the business and users and related business processes

● Write and shepherd user stories through the intake process and work with the IT COE through the production development process

● Act as the product owner on a scrum team consisting of technical leads, developers and a scrum master; lead the team in gathering requirements, prioritization and testing of new features

● Work with a field team to understand and prioritize the needs of IT and Salesforce.com systems

● Collaborate with site and divisional IT business teams to ensure Salesforce.com resource support, including site-level strat planning and AOP

● Perform formal user acceptance testing

● Collaborate on the creation, implementation and monitoring of success metrics

● Participate with the Business Programs Office in global design and use discussions at both project- and program-level efforts

● Stay current on new features, functionality and application capabilities of Salesforce.com to address business requirements

● Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 user support in collaboration with the analyst team and escalate or manage unresolved issues

● Conduct primary research in the field to understand business drivers and uncover business opportunities to facilitate the planning and execution of SFDC

● Provide field sales support of the SFDC system specific to the business unit

● Train a national field team on new Salesforce.com features, data quality and new integrations

● Work with cross-functional teams on application integrations with the Salesforce platform that complement the ecosystem

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

● Education: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in business administration or related field

● Minimum of 2 years' experience in business, operations or process improvement (areas of IT or sales preferred)

● Minimum of 2 years' experience with Salesforce.com administration or backend support

● Minimum of 2 years' experience working in the Agile framework (product owner role preferred)

● Strong data analysis skills with the ability to collect and analyze business information and draw accurate conclusions

● Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex business operations challenges

● Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and develop a business case

● Strong ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work to positively impact business performance

● High sense of urgency and commitment to execution

● Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of an organization; experience in sales training preferred

● Ability to effectively influence change across a national field team

● Experience with multiple Salesforce.com cloud platforms, such as Marketing Cloud, Communities and Service Cloud

● Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred qualifications:

● MBA preferred

● Expert-level Excel skills with advanced understanding of complex data structures and analysis

● Salesforce certification(s)

● Experience with budget analysis and value definition

● Six Sigma experience

● Medical device industry knowledge

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
