About the role: 
The primary responsibility of the Scrum Master is to lead the Quote to Cash implementation with management of the product team activities and deliverables. This role will also lead the IT Revenue Management team in partnering with the BSC business divisions and Sales Enablement team to understand business priorities/roadmap and apply agile and lean concepts in the delivery of revenue management solutions that will bring increased value, capabilities, and a competitive advantage to our business.

 

Your responsibilities include: 

  • Establishes estimates and ensures clear project definition, proposal, and plan.
  • Manages projects: Develops project plans and estimates outlining work plans, timelines, roles, and resources; Leads cross-functional project team functional experts and business partners; Ensures team progress to ensure achievement of all milestones and deliverables while managing risks and issues; Provides updates to management and all stakeholders of progress through frequent communications of findings at regular intervals via reports and meetings.
  • Ability to work in Agile Project methodology and manage Sprints efficiently
  • Finds techniques for effective product backlog management, that work for the team.
  • Acts as facilitator of scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand ups, retrospectives etc.) through a clear understanding of the aim of each event, taking corrective measures as required.
  • Helps the team to continuously improve the effectiveness of their incremental delivery of value to customers & stakeholders, whilst adapting to customer & stakeholder feedback.
  • Collaborates with the Product Manager and team to ensure a healthy prioritized product backlog.
  • Develops and delivers project recommendations to management and all stakeholders; Presents changes in IT program/project including technology selection and development, total cost of ownership and ability to drive business outcomes; Develops implementation strategy.
  • Manages implementation of projects: Develops implementation plan outlining work plans, timelines, roles and resources; Identifies and leads implementation team including local business and IT representatives; Works with functional team members to ensure that all supporting infrastructure including program guidelines, processes, training programs, organizational structure and new roles are developed and communicated.
  • Leads the work of employees assigned to the project from technical and business partners to build a high performing team.
  • Manages project KPIs, and development and manages schedules and performance standards, tracking accountability of team to objectives.
  • Coaches and facilitates the team in self-organization and cross-functionality, delivering agile training and coaching in line with agreed outcomes.
  • Removes impediments to the team's progress.
  • Drives capability uplift in teams against strategic capabilities.
  • Gains a thorough understanding of the application of agile risk management in the bank through experience of it or similar applications.
  • Maintains best-in-class agile expertise and resources to deliver the right knowledge and skills to teams.

 

What we're looking for: 
Required  Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years experience in Information Technology projects
  • Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
  • Demonstrated success working in a highly collaborative, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
  • Advanced technical competencies and demonstrated leadership competencies required with a strong sense of personal accountability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and business partners
  • Experience with Agile tools (JIRA Cloud) but would be open to other tools
  • Exposure to Scaled Agile serving on Program Level Team of Teams
  • SCRUM certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certified
  • Scaled Agile experience
  • Experience with Jira Align Tool or similar Program Scaled Agile Tool
  • SF project experience is a plus
