About the role:

 

Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to help bridge regional service delivery teams and the Global Process unit, ensuring alignment with global standards and driving improvements in the Invoice-to-Cash process.

 

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for benchmarking services against industry practices, maintaining compliance with auditing and internal control regulations, and supporting infrastructure efforts related to the Invoice-to-Cash process. This position requires strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills, along with solid experience in the end-to-end Invoice-to-Cash process.

 

This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office, based in one of the following locations:

  • Maple Grove, MN
  • Arden Hills, MN
  • Marlborough, MA

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with the Global Process Team to create and prioritize strategic plans, outlining the roadmap for enhancing value within a GBS suite of business services.
  • Align metrics, scorecards, and performance measurement methodologies globally by working with the Service Delivery Team, Regional Process Stewards, Service Infrastructure, and Service Delivery.
  • Review performance metrics to benchmark across regions, identify value improvement opportunities, and recommend new or modified metrics for the scorecard.
  • Partner with GBS delivery teams to execute projects that reduce service errors, increase efficiency, strengthen controls, and mitigate operational risk.
  • Present project recommendations and conclusions to business leaders by leveraging leading practices, monitoring performance, and benchmarking across end-to-end processes.
  • Coordinate the regional SOX Program in collaboration with Service Delivery, Corporate SOX 404, and Global Internal Audit leadership to ensure global alignment.
  • Support audit procedures to assess internal controls, business process efficiency, and compliance with company policies and external regulations.
  • Lead and participate in GBS governance meetings.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for key service infrastructure initiatives such as business continuity planning, capacity planning, and performance metric realignment.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in Invoice-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable, or Credit & Collections within Shared Services, Global Business Services, or BPO environments.
  • Experience working for a global and complex matrix organization.
  • ERP experience required; SAP S/4 experience preferred.
  • Experience with GetPaid software (or similar).
  • Strong financial skills, including the ability to develop business cases for new or improved service proposals.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and address issues related to processes, technology, strategy, or personnel, with a history of implementing corrective actions.
  • Proven experience with process improvements and end-to-end implementation.
  • Solid understanding of internal controls and their relationship to business processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present value propositions and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, as needed, based on business requirements.
