As a Senior Early Career Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will lead strategic campus recruitment efforts to attract and engage a diverse pipeline of early career talent. This role focuses on building strong university partnerships, managing internship and rotational programs, and driving innovative hiring initiatives. You will collaborate with HRBP’s, Functional Champions, and business leaders to strengthen Boston Scientific’s early talent strategy and long-term workforce planning.
Your responsibilities will include:
Early Career and Emerging Talent Full Life Cycle Recruitment (70%)
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for early-career positions, including screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates for internships, co-ops, and entry-level roles.
 - Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-potential early career and emerging talent for internships, co-ops and early career positions.
 - Act as a Talent Consultant by frequently collaborating with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize hiring needs. Providing timely consultation, coaching, and training to hiring leaders as needed.
 - Use various proactive sourcing channels to continually source, develop and maintain a network community of diverse talent for future hiring needs
 - Utilize data-driven insights to refine and improve recruitment strategies, enhancing the candidate’s experience and meeting business needs.
 - Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions and other recruiting activities to ensure Company and legal compliance with employment practices, policies and processes.
 - Assist in other areas of Talent Acquisition as needed, including participation on various HR/Recruiting project initiatives
 
Early Career Program Execution (20%)
- Co-design, implement, and manage early career programs, including internships, co-ops, and emerging talent recruitment strategies.
 - Serve as the primary contact for early-career talent, providing mentorship and guidance for their success and engagement.
 - Oversee and Organize Intern Onboarding, Orientation and local summer intern activities.
 - Lead and continuously improve early career experience with candidates and hiring leaders to ensure a meaningful and development focused program
 - Collaborate with business leaders and HR teams to align program objectives with business goals and increase the conversion rate of interns into full time hires.
 - Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges and technical schools to promote Boston Scientific as an employer of choice.
 - Represent the company at career fairs, campus recruiting events, and conferences, while coordinating presentations, workshops, and info sessions to source top early career talent
 - Manage partnerships with diverse organizations and early-career-focused platforms to ensure inclusive recruitment practices.
 
Continuous Program Improvement & Innovation (10%):
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in early career talent development and campus recruitment.
 - Identify and recommend enhancements to optimize recruitment efforts and improve candidate experience.
 - Leverage technology and digital platforms to create innovative recruitment strategies for early-career professionals.
 - Actively engage in HR and talent acquisition initiatives to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
 - Lead efforts to enhance the internship experience in alignment with organizational goals.
 - Propose ideas to improve candidate experience and keep up with social media trends.
 - Collaborate with HR/Talent Acquisition leadership to creatively address recruitment challenges.
 - Analyze the outcomes of the Internship Program and Early Careers efforts to measure progress and inform strategy.
 - Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Early Careers best practices and recruiting standards.
 
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or another related field
 - Minimum of 3 years' experience managing early career intern and co-op programs
 - Minimum of 3 years' full life cycle recruiting experience in university relations or early careers
 - Minimum of 5 years' full life cycle corporate recruiting
 - Minimum of 5 years' recruiting experience in MedTech or Healthcare industry
 - Subject matter expertise in early career and/or emerging talent recruitment strategies, processes, and candidate selection methods
 - Experience using a major applicant tracking system (ATS), such as SuccessFactors
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
 - Knowledge of OFCCP compliance, EEO guidelines, and federal recruitment regulations
 - Ability to travel up to 15–20% for campus visits and recruitment events, with increased travel during peak seasons
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a high-volume setting requires a sense of urgency, with demonstrated ability to manage competing demands, receive constructive feedback, and maintain adaptability and flexibility.
 - Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills necessary to effectively work with senior management, hiring managers, applicants and candidates
 - Creative thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
 - In-depth knowledge of employer branding strategies and recruitment marketing
 - Experience with a CRM or proactive sourcing tool, such as Eightfold, Handshake, LinkedIn Recruiter etc.
