About the role:
The Senior Finance Manager, CRMDx, plays a critical leadership role in driving financial performance and strategic support across the division. This individual leads the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team, providing oversight for the divisional P&L, financial reporting, portfolio investments, new product launches, and business development opportunities.
This role partners closely with Divisional leaders and business partners to develop, communicate, and execute financial strategies that enable growth, profitability, and innovation. It is a high-impact role for a strategic, collaborative, and forward-thinking finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment. He/she will act as the primary business partner regarding forecasts, strategic planning, management reporting & commercial and portfolio financial analysis for the Cardiac Diagnostics Solutions business and support the CDS functions (Selling, Marketing, administration, R&D, Sustaining, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, etc.). The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with wide-ranging experience in managing a franchise/divisional P&L with expertise in the finance and accounting field and experience managing market models and supporting revenue cycle management, financial close activities and business development. This person will apply comprehensive knowledge of finance and accounting skills to resolve complex issues.
This role will report to the Cardiac Rhythm Management and Diagnostics Controller.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partner with senior leadership to establish financial goals, strategic plans, and growth objectives
- Lead financial planning processes, including forecasts, budgets, and the annual operating plan
- Oversee monthly and quarterly financial close activities, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and transparency in all reporting
- Deliver strategic financial analysis and insights to support commercial investments, new product launches, and portfolio decisions
- Provide financial decision support for business development initiatives, including acquisitions, partnerships, distribution agreements, and venture investments
- Collaborate with Cardiovascular Accounting on CDx division accounting and revenue cycle management, financial due diligence, and integration planning
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting systems
- Ensure effective operation of internal controls, with accountability for compliance with U.S. GAAP and quality systems
- Actively share best practices and foster financial acumen across the organization
- Manage one direct report. Provide day-to-day direction and develop talent through mentoring with opportunities to expand scope and visibility over time
- Provide strategic guidance and financial leadership to cross-functional business units and initiatives
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic business partnering
- Proven expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial close processes, and operational controls
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting commercial operations and evaluating investment opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industry
- MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree or certification
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration
- Experience in a leadership or people management role
- Strong systems acumen and familiarity with enterprise financial tools and reporting platforms
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
