About the role:
This role will be part of the Global Capital Equipment Services Finance and help provide support to the organization towards helping the business achieve the goals and objectives of Boston Scientific and the Service Org through the effective management of the CETS Allocation, planning, analysis and reporting of Global spend activities including driving OH improvement projects, driving margin improvements and overhead spend leverages with revenue growth. In addition, this role will also support ground up support for US and EMEA HC and Spend mgmt. including working with GSC Operations Corp and EMEA MDIV through AOP and Forecast projections and HC Target mgmt. with functional leaders and other ad hoc duties as they arise. The ideal candidate possesses strong relationship building and communication skills. This is a hybrid role based out of our Arden Hills office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expert and key finance partner for United States and EMEA Service Org cost center spend and HC, including in depth analysis for payroll, EMEA cross charges and other spend categories and variance analysis to plan and forecast scenarios.
- Management and Reporting of $105M Global CETS Allocation including supporting planning and forcasting activities, mgmt. of currency impacts.
- Management of HC in US and EMEA including mgmt. of HC to Targets set during AOP and Forecast periods and working with GSC and MDIV EMEA Div partners on tasks.
- Subject Matter Expert with regard to working with the Hyperion system for data load during the planning and forecast timelines and monthly system download and refreshing of data from the consolidated system.
- Key lead for all activities pertaining to acquisition integration of new businesses into CETS organization especially with regard to new HC and Spend incorporation and management of timing and potential “lift and shift” in Service Org.
- Supports the CETS Global VIP Program by participating and being the key provider and approver of financial information in partnership with the broader team
- Support the engineering team on Capital Expenditure and non-capex tooling management, monthly reporting and ensuring compliance with BSC policies on capital thresholds and audit requirements
- Supports the US monthly close process and completes any applicable journal entries and reconciliations as required for accurate GAAP reporting
- Drive continued improvements in various finance reporting processes leveraging new technologies such as Tableau / Power BI
- Subject Matter Expert on Finance related policies and processes and partner with Division Finance Partners and Corporate Accounting on same
- Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Very strong analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Background and experience in integrated ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Experience in reporting & analytical tools such as Tableau, Adaptive Planning desirable
