About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager to lead our Marketing Enablement and Learning Solutions team. This role is responsible for the strategy, governance, and delivery of enterprise capabilities and platforms that enable marketing execution and learning experiences, including remote case support.
This leader will oversee two core capability areas: Omnichannel Marketing Platforms, and Learning Solutions that empower healthcare professionals, and support our Medical Education and Sales teams. This role will drive the development, optimization, and global scaling of digital capabilities that enable personalized, data-driven customer experiences.
Partnering closely with Corporate Marketing, Medical Education, and Sales, this Senior IT Manager will ensure cross-functional alignment, establish global platform governance, and deliver scalable solutions that support evolving business needs. Success in this role requires strategic leadership, deep technology expertise, and effective stakeholder partnership to deliver sustainable, high impact outcomes.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our Arden Hills, MN (or) Marlborough, MA office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership & Strategy
- Define and own the technology strategy and roadmap for Marketing Enablement and Learning Solutions, aligned to enterprise and business priorities.
- Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends across marketing, learning, and remote support, translating opportunities into actionable strategies.
- Manage strategic vendor and partner relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives, delivery expectations, and long-term platform value.
Delivery, Operations, & Collaboration
- Oversee the delivery, enhancement, and operational stability of the marketing and learning platforms.
- Evolve Agile and product-centric delivery practices to support iterative delivery and continuous value realization.
- Monitor platform adoption, performance (including vendor and contractual performance), and value realization, driving continuous optimization and scalability.
- Drive standardization and reuse of capabilities to maximize platform value and reduce complexity across customer groups.
- Partner with internal IT teams, vendors, and system integrators to deliver solutions aligned to approved schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted partner for IT and business leaders, including Corporate Marketing, Medical Education, and Sales, translating business needs into clear technology roadmaps and delivery plans.
- Establish and evolve global governance models to ensure effective platform management across the enterprise.
- Ensure bidirectional sharing of priorities and roadmaps with global stakeholders to drive strategic alignment and identify opportunities for standardization and reuse.
- Communicate platform vision, progress, and risks to leadership with clarity and transparency.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in IT, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing technical delivery teams, people, and vendors.
- Strong vendor and partner management experience, including SaaS providers and system integrators.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and operate global platform governance models, including standards, roadmaps, and lifecycle management.
- Experience delivering and scaling solutions across multiple customer groups.
- Working knowledge of agile and DevOps practices in enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with Agile or product-centric delivery models in an enterprise IT setting.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading enterprise marketing and/or learning technology platforms in a global, matrix organization.
- Familiarity with omnichannel marketing ecosystems, including data platforms, personalization, and analytics.
- Proven experience with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing and Customer Data Platform, Adobe Learning Manager, Appinium, and Remote Case Support technologies.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of regulated or medical device/healthcare environments.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
