About the Role:
The Global Business Services (GBS) team is seeking a Senior Manager to join the Financial Services organization. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a global team focused on standardized and streamlined reporting, process alignment, value improvement, and technology enablement.
This role reports to the Sr. Director of GBS Financial Services and involves extensive collaboration with various GBS teams and stakeholders.
Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to identify opportunities for streamlining and improving processes, including leveraging technology and automation. Provide business cases to support value propositions.
- Deliver governance and project updates for the Financial Services roadmap.
- Prepare monthly financial expense and headcount reports for the Financial Services team, including consolidated reporting and tracking open positions.
- Analyze departmental spending versus budget and forecast, highlighting material variances using system-generated details and trend reports.
- Support Financial Services leadership in the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with Finance Corporate Functions and Regional HR teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and headcount reporting.
- Manage the intake process for new service requests, ensuring alignment with the process improvement roadmap and team priorities.
- Identify opportunities for synergy and best-practice sharing across the Financial Services organization.
- Lead special projects as required, including governance and change management initiatives.
- Coordinate the Pre-Close Review process.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, project management, and business support.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive process improvements, and support change management principles.
- Proficiency in Excel, as well as Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Commitment to contributing meaningfully to organizational culture.
- Proven success in applying lean process improvement in enterprise-wide and transactional environments.
- Prior experience in a medium to large medical device company.
- Proven ability to think through end-to-end processes and drive global process harmonization.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, highly matrixed global organization and simplify reporting and analytical processes.
- Comfort with ambiguity, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work through roadblocks to meet internal customer needs.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on evaluating current offerings and driving enhancements, expanded scope, and new capabilities.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels within a global organization.
