About the role:
This HR Business Partner role will provide strategic HR leadership and direction to the CRM and Cardiac Diagnostic (CRMDx) division as part of the Cardiology Group. In this role, you will act as the trusted advisor to members of the CRMDx leadership team guiding, developing and driving organizational effectiveness, while supporting the execution of business strategy through the delivery of human capital solutions.

 

This role will report directly to the Vice President, Human Resources for Cardiology Sales and CRMDx in a highly autonomous and empowered role.  The role will also work closely with key COE partners and other functional colleagues across the BSC matrix, to support the execution of HR strategies across these critical functions.  The position is based in Arden Hill, Minneapolis and will require 15-20% travel to the Preventice site based in Houston, TX with people management responsibility for the Preventice HR team.  


Your responsibilities will include: 
Set strategic direction and participate in the design, development and execution of organizational effectiveness, including organizational design and development. Conduct assessments and provide a clear picture of the current state gaps and a plan develop action plans to support achievement of organization objectives.


⦁    Support the function’s annual strategic plan and operating plan through the application of organizational development insights, capability assessments and strategic workforce planning.
⦁    Support key strategic programs including acquisition integrations and organizational transformations.
⦁    Working with COE partners as needed, provide HR leadership and guidance to client group(s) in the following areas: capability assessments, competency development, leadership effectiveness, succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, employee engagement, change management and process improvement.
⦁    Leverage HR Centers of Excellence to address and satisfy the strategic needs of the business.  Apply knowledge of key business drivers in making long-range strategic decisions related to human capital.
⦁    Coach and consult with management on issues affecting morale, performance, development and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps.
⦁    Responsible for identifying gaps between current organizational capabilities, required competencies and skills, and the future strategic objectives of the function.
⦁    Introduce, lead and influence change management initiatives within the client groups to address issues that will enhance overall performance and build the overall human capital capability of the organization.
⦁    Ensure effective human capital reporting, metrics, analytics and processes to advance the business and human capital strategies.
⦁    Build the right culture and work closely with top management to drive and embed company values and behaviors and ensure leaders leverage these to motivate and engage teams.
⦁    Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
 
Required Qualifications
⦁    Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or a related field of study
⦁    8-10+ years’ experience in a progressive Human Resources organization or relevant business environment


Preferred Qualifications:
⦁    Comfortable working in a matrixed, growth-oriented corporate environment.
⦁    Previous experience initiating and leading change initiatives
⦁    Demonstrated ability to deal with highly complex business challenges, both urgent short-term issues and long-term strategic items in the highly competitive medical device sales ecosystem
⦁    Experience with developing and implementing custom talent management strategies
⦁    Previous people management
⦁    A deep understanding of how to build talent in an organization both in terms of acquisition and development. Has worked on creating engagement and retention strategies and plans with successful deployment relentless follow-through to ensure successful outcomes
⦁    Strong commitment to defining and delivering diversity and inclusion strategies.
⦁    Strong business acumen coupled with proven, in-depth experience in assessing, identifying, designing, and implementing talent management and organization effectiveness initiatives.
⦁    Thrives in a team oriented, high demand and high-performance culture.
⦁    Demonstrated ability to make tough decisions when needed
⦁    Executive presence and polish, with strong, ethics and intellectual honesty.
⦁    Demonstrated ability and understanding of need to collaborate across divisions, regions, and global HR functions.
