Magellan is the largest global business transformation program in Boston Scientific's history. It is establishing the Boston Scientific of the future through the transition of our ERP platform from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. Magellan's goal is to simplify, standardize and modernize our core business processes, enabling Boston Scientific to better leverage the power of data and automation while positioning the business for profitable and sustainable growth.
Reporting to the Transformation and Deployment Lead, the Senior Manager, Regional Deployment Project Management serves as the primary point of contact between the Magellan Program and the U.S. region, including regional leadership, divisional leadership and key stakeholders. This role represents the global Magellan strategy and implementation roadmap by planning, communicating, influencing and coordinating execution efforts across the region to achieve both global program and regional objectives.
The primary focus of this position is the U.S. implementation, while also supporting broader global Magellan initiatives, including risk mitigation and enterprise standardization efforts. This role is expected to continue through 2030 and will support all phases of the program, including Mobilize, Design, Build, Testing, Deployment and post-go-live stabilization. The U.S. region will mobilize, design and build as one integrated program, followed by multiple phased go-live deployments.
This position is preferably located in Marlborough, Massachusetts, or Arden Hills, Minnesota, and requires significant travel throughout the United States and other global locations as business needs require.

Your responsibilities will include:
● Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Magellan Program and its regional implications across Customer-to-Cash, Commercial, Finance, Source-to-Pay, Planning, Quality, Demand-to-Deliver and Service, Manufacturing, Change Management and Master Data workstreams.
● Maintain a strong understanding of regional and country-specific complexities while remaining current on regional business strategies and initiatives.
● Build and maintain a strong network of relationships with country leaders, functional leaders and subject matter experts across the region.
● Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders across regional leadership teams and the global Magellan Program.
● Serve as the primary regional point of contact for identifying subject matter experts and stakeholders, gathering regional input and ensuring the region is effectively represented throughout the program.
● Develop strong cross-functional partnerships that enable collaboration and ensure the voice of the customer is incorporated throughout the program lifecycle.
● Partner closely with Regional Leads supporting Magellan deployments across EMEA, APAC and LATAM.
● Collaborate with U.S. business teams to support successful business transition activities associated with Magellan deployments.
● Develop and execute a comprehensive regional change management and communications strategy in partnership with the global program team.
● Identify, monitor and proactively mitigate regional risks while managing overlapping initiatives and dependencies.
● Partner with regional leadership, key stakeholders and the global Magellan team to develop and execute a regional deployment strategy, including detailed implementation and resource plans.
● Act as the regional change leader, partnering with global program leadership and regional leadership teams to drive organizational readiness.
● Lead complex, multi-year business transformation initiatives requiring strong project management and change leadership capabilities.
● Drive projects through established governance and stage-gate processes, including project planning, execution, deployment, operational transition and continuous improvement.
● Develop and maintain key project deliverables, including project charters, scope documentation, roadmaps, work plans and governance materials.
● Drive accountability and ownership for project deliverables, process standardization initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities.
● Communicate project priorities, monitor progress and escalate issues as appropriate to ensure successful execution.
● Ensure projects are completed on schedule, follow established policies and maintain accurate project documentation.
● Facilitate productive discussions, navigate conflict effectively and resolve complex business challenges.
Required qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Science or a related field.
● Minimum of 7 years' experience in program management or a relevant functional discipline supporting large-scale business transformation initiatives.
● Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management or people management within the medical device industry.
● Demonstrated experience leading large-scale regional transformation programs or enterprise change initiatives.
● Working knowledge of ERP systems, enterprise application ecosystems and core business processes.
● Demonstrated ability to establish, communicate and influence strategic vision across complex stakeholder groups.
● Experience managing highly matrixed global organizations and influencing without direct authority.
● Demonstrated integrity, professionalism and the ability to build trusted relationships across global teams.
● Strong business partnership, leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
● Proven ability to lead organizational change and drive adoption in complex environments.
● Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to make objective decisions in dynamic environments.
● Demonstrated ability to define data-driven success measures and execute with a high sense of urgency.
● Proven adaptability and resilience in rapidly changing business environments.

Preferred qualifications:
● Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Science or a related field.
● Experience supporting SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA ERP transformations.
● Experience with Agile or Scaled Agile methodologies, Design Thinking and Lean principles.
● Strong enterprise network with demonstrated credibility and influence across the U.S. region.
