About the role:
The Senior Sales Strategy and Operations Analyst will drive analytics, strategies, and planning for the Boston Scientific Cardiac Rhythm Management & Diagnostics sales team. As an integral member of the Sales Strategy and Operations team, this position partners with sales and marketing leaders to build and influence commercial sales models that enable organizational growth at scale. This role requires a high level of business acumen, customer focus, and analytical expertise, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:
● Create, execute, and lead sales solutions that drive profitable growth.
● Develop actionable analytics and propose recommendations and strategies to solve commercial opportunities in unique ways that return optimal value to the business.
● Partner with cross-functional teams to outline and execute sales processes that achieve divisional and franchise-level objectives.
● Engage in long-range planning and multi-year sales transformation strategies to drive efficiencies within both sales operations and the sales organization.
● Identify process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using appropriate methodologies, measurements, tools, and quantitative techniques.
● Partner with the sales organization and advisory boards to align on processes and projects that advance business goals.
● Assist in strategic planning activities.
● Build strong collaborative relationships across the division—including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Pricing & Contracting, Sales Training, and other internal partners—to ensure alignment with strategies and facilitate shared success.
● Participate in various sales-related projects and initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness.
● Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement across sales operations and the broader sales organization.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree.
● Excellent problem-solving skills, using an analytical and consultative “partner-focused” approach.
● Experience with business data modeling and statistical analysis.
● High-energy, team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
● Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and analytical skills, able to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
● Highly analytical with the ability to interpret large datasets from multiple perspectives to support business decisions.
● Ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborating effectively with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of balancing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
● Expertise in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Preferred qualifications:
● Experience within Boston Scientific or the medical device industry.
● Prior focus in Sales Operations and/or Marketing functions.
