About the role:
The Change Enablement Senior Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the integration of Axonics Medical, a leading medical device company headquartered in Irvine, California, recently acquired by Boston Scientific (BSC). As part of BSC's Urology division, this integration encompasses approximately 1,000 new employees and focuses on fostering the continued success and growth of Axonics. Key priorities include engaging and retaining employees, while seamlessly integrating people, products, and systems into BSC Urology to maximize value.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Change Enablement within the Organizational Change Enablement (OCE) team, this role operates within a global team dedicated to enhancing enterprise change capabilities. The OCE team drives success by promoting a unified change framework (based on Prosci), delivering best practices, upskilling key roles, and crafting strategies for significant enterprise programs.
The Senior Specialist will lead the change strategy for the Axonics integration, executing a comprehensive change plan. Responsibilities include onboarding sponsors, upskilling people leaders, addressing change impacts, managing stakeholders, guiding end-user transitions, mobilizing the change network, and overseeing SharePoint resources.
This is a defined-term position anticipated to conclude in late 2026, with the potential for extension.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute deployment change journey activities in collaboration with change network leads, ensuring the delivery of high-quality change events and materials for each phase leading up to deployment.
- Complete critical change activities (e.g., capturing and validating changes, mapping changes to roles, identifying end-users) in partnership with Change Deputies within the Scrum teams.
- Develop and communicate updated personas aligned to each release, tailored to end-user groups experiencing the most significant and complex changes.
- Design and deliver program communications for the team, broader stakeholder community, and executive audience, following next-generation communication strategies and leveraging Microsoft O365 tools, including SharePoint Sites and the News app.
- Manage SharePoint site administration tasks, such as stakeholder list management, end-user list updates, creating News posts or pages, and reviewing site analytics to ensure optimal functionality.
- Measure the effectiveness of change initiatives and communications through various methods, including focus groups, surveys, and analytics, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Resolve complex issues independently with minimal supervision, escalating only the most critical challenges to appropriate staff when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the program and team objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, I/O Psychology, or a related field OR 8+ years of equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of work experience in change management, communications, or related field.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in I/O Psychology, Communication, or related field.
- Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) certification and/or PROSCI Certification
- 5+ years of work experience with change tools such stakeholder’s analysis, change impact mapping, persona creation, change measures, and the value of their outputs
- 5+ years of creating enterprise wide and executive level creative communications using multiple vehicles/approaches.
- Successful track record delivering high quality creative communications to all levels of organization using multiple vehicles
- Experience working on a global project transformation implementing Change Management and Communications tactics
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in diverse, multicultural, and global environments, with sensitivity and respect for cultural differences.
