About the role:

 

Magellan is a global business transformation program accompanying a move of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system from ECC to S/4 HANA. Magellan’s goal is to simplify, standardize and modernize our core business processes, enabling BSC to better leverage the power of data and to position our business for profitable and sustainable growth. The Magellan Organizational Change Enablement Team (OCE) is responsible Change Enablement and Communications; Talent Development and Future Operating Models; and ERP Training deployment, delivery and establishing a sustaining function.


The Senior Specialist, Magellan Change Enablement will report to Senior Manager of Change Enablement within the OCE team.  As part of the OCE team, this role will be responsible for deployment and program communications, capture and disposition change impacts, stakeholder management, end-user change journey activities, and SharePoint administration.   The culture of the OCE team is to work as a group and be flexible and willing to jump in to the broader OCE team responsibilities.  It is an expectation that all OCE members can represent all OCE activities (at a high-level) when engaging with stakeholders.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Execute deployment change journey activities in partnership with change network leads in the business in delivering quality change events and materials for each change phase leading up to deployment.   
  • Complete key change activities (i.e. capture changes coming, validate changes, map changes to roles, identify end-users) in partnership with Change Deputies in the Scrum teams,
  • Create and communicate updated personas aligned to each release for end-user groups with highest amount and complexity of changes coming.
  • Create and support program communications for team, broader stakeholder community, and executive level. Communications should follow the next gen communication approach and are integrated into Microsoft O365 suite of tools including SharePoint Sites, News app, and more.  
  • Support Magellan SharePoint site. SharePoint administration activities include stakeholder list management, end-user list management, creating News posts/sites as needed, and/or reviewing site analytics.
  • Consistently measure change and communication effectiveness through multiple forms of measurement (i.e. focus groups, surveys, analytics).
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, I/O Psychology, or a related field OR 5+ years of relevant equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in change management, communications, or a related field
  • Experience delivering high quality creative communications to all levels of organization using multiple vehicles
  • Experience working on a global project transformation implementing Change Management and Communications tactics
  • Experience working globally and comfort with cultural diversity.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication – strong attention to detail, creative writing, presentations
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of tools (e.g. PPT and SharePoint)
  • Growth Mindset - comfortable with ambiguity
  • Fast paced environment
  • Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) certification and/or PROSCI Certification
  • Master's degree in I/O Psychology, Communication, or related field
  • 5+ years of related work experience with change tools such stakeholder’s analysis, change impact mapping, persona creation, change measures, and the value of their outputs
  • 5+ years creating enterprise wide and executive level creative communications using multiple vehicles/approaches
