About the role:

As part of the Global Sourcing organization, the Senior Supplier Engineering Manager – Acquisitions & Integrations is responsible for building and leading Boston Scientific’s acquisition-focused supplier engineering capability.

This role owns the end-to-end supplier integration strategy for acquisitions, from early technical diligence through post-close stabilization and scale. This role will lead a team operating in two distinct but tightly coordinated lanes:

  • Supplier Engineering Leads (SE Leads): Responsible for upfront technical risk assessment, supplier capability evaluation, and long-term supply base strategy
  • Deployment Supplier Engineers: Highly mobile engineers who embed at acquired sites and suppliers, executing hands-on remediation, stabilization, and supplier performance recovery

This role will define how these teams operate, where resources are deployed, and how supplier risks are identified, prioritized, and resolved. This role requires strong technical judgment, decisive leadership, and the ability to operate effectively in high-ambiguity, high-visibility acquisition environments.

This is not a steady-state operations role. Success is measured by how quickly and effectively acquired supplier networks are stabilized, de-risked, and scaled.

Boston Scientific was recognized by Forbes as one of the Best Workplaces for Engineers in 2026, reflecting a culture where engineers do meaningful work.

Boston Scientific was also recognized as a Glassdoor Best Place to Work in 2026, ranking No. 15 on the Top 100 list, reflecting the culture our employees experience every day.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a fully-onsite work model requiring employees to be in our local office five (5) days per week.

Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.

  • Drive resolution of complex supplier quality, capacity, and process issues, ensuring timely containment, root cause, and long-term corrective actions
  • Build and implement standardized acquisition playbooks, tools, and metrics for supplier evaluation, integration, and performance tracking
  • Influence supplier selection, negotiation strategy, and long-term partnerships in collaboration with Global Sourcing
