About the role:
Supports the overall rebate settlement and payment process for Boston Scientific.   Monitors rebates to be paid and ensures payments are accurate, timely, and within approved guidelines. Reports key metrics and rebate reporting to customer and internal Boston Scientific stakeholders.  
This position is a member of the Center for Contracting Excellence in the Sales Enablement Organization. This position will initially focus on the settlement of division rebates, primarily focused on Neuromodulation rebates.

  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Collects, compiles, and analyzes data to ensure accurate, timely calculation and payment of rebates in accordance with signed contracts.
    • Utilizes Model N Revenue Cloud, SAP, Business Objects, and Excel to gather and analyze rebate data for approved rebate contracts. SAP is the primary rebate settlement tool for this role.
    • Identifies and resolves rebate discrepancies by interacting with various Boston Scientific businesses and functions, sales representatives, and customers.
    • Advises on rebate strategies and policies and provides advice and expertise regarding past successful agreements and future options.
    • Develops and maintains rebate data bases to report key business metrics, rebate payments, trends, and other performance criteria to pricing and contracting and field management.
    • Compiles and analyzes data for sales teams to support the divisional and national account activity.
    • Recommends and develops policies and procedures related to rebate business administration to ensure efficiency, and accuracy of operations.
    • Evaluates data to create monthly and ad hoc reports for pricing and contracting and field management.
    • May interact with director of national accounts, sales managers, business analysts, Center of Contracting Excellence teams, Global Business Services, and pricing managers to clarify specifications, resolve questions in contracts containing agreements and to make customer payments.

    • Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other business or analytical related field
    • Three or more years of related work experience in the areas of contract administration, rebate settlement, sales enablement, commercial operations, finance, accounting, or other highly analytical role.
    • Strong Microsoft Office Experience including intermediate Excel skills. 
    • Ability to collaborate cross functionally to drive process improvements and business results.
    • Must have excellent critical thinking skills and a problem-solving mind-set.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Comfortable multi-tasking and adapting to a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience supporting a sales organization.
    • Experience with Business Intelligence platforms, and exposure to Model N Revenue Cloud, SAP or other Contracting/Revenue Management systems.
    • Advanced Excel skills.
