About the role:

Boston Scientific is seeking a creative, marketing communications professional to work directly with marketing partners and communications team to initiate, develop and execute customer-facing multi-channel integrated communications plans that support the brand, programs, and marketing objectives.

Ability to adapt to changing business conditions/plans while continuing to be proactive and drive projects to completion.

 

The Opportunity: This individual will collaborate with a cross-functional team to execute integrated campaign strategies encompassing multiple channels, including digital (earned and owned), events, sales enablement, PR and traditional mediums, such as print collateral and advertising.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Audiences: Collaborate with internal marketing partners to drive the execution of developed strategic integrated communication plans to nurture target audiences and employ compelling calls to action toward primary conversations.
  • Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration with internal key stakeholders. Leverage relationships to understand market dynamics in order to execute on strategy with tactics for specified channels of marketing communications.
  • Implementation: Work proactively in partnership with multi-channel managers and marketing communications team members to develop, coordinate, and execute results-driven strategic channel plans and initiatives.
  • Communication: Communicate proactively with internal team members and agencies/vendors in order to manage expectations, timelines and logistics, and utilize team tools to provide regular updates on progress of initiatives and projects.
  • Campaign/Program Execution: Execute integrated communication campaigns and programs for product franchises and services focused on physicians and patients, using a variety of communication mediums within specified channels.
  • Project Management: Leverage proven skills in organizing, executing, and managing projects utilizing tools and templates that aid in tracking and communicating project status and next steps.
  • Brand: Ensure consistency in the Boston Scientific brand within specified channels.
  • Quality System Requirements: In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

 

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business required, Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital, Business or other relevant field preferred
  • 5-10 years proven, direct experience in developing and deploying successful marketing communications campaigns or programs
  • Agency experience strongly preferred
  • Medical Device experience or regulated environment experience preferred
  • Copywriting and editing of marketing materials for various audiences preferred
  • Collateral/content development for use in multiple communications channels
  • Strong demonstrated organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal/external stakeholders
  • Ability to engage and influence cross-functional colleagues, even without direct reporting relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic)
