About the Role:
The Sr. Altium System Analyst will play a vital role in managing the migration of ECAD data into Boston Scientific systems and implementing a global Altium 365 processes.
This position calls for strong technical expertise, creativity in problem-solving, and exceptional communication skills to drive successful integration of Altium 365 globally.
Cross-functional collaboration abilities will be key in ensuring seamless onboarding and optimization of ECAD workflows.
Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:
System Administration & Technical Support
- Develop and implement global ECAD standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Define Altium 365 database structures, including workflows, attributes, and general process flows.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and settings within the Altium 365 platform.
- Configure Altium 365 workspaces to facilitate seamless team collaboration.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, perform upgrades, and ensure system stability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ECAD-related issues.
Migration & Integration
- Assess the quality of acquired ECAD data and provide resource/remediation estimates.
- Develop and document ECAD migration strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, Supplier Engineering, and Process Engineering.
- Review and update existing SOPs/WIs for acquisition remediation processes.
- Track and document weekly progress for migration efforts, resolving issues, and updating timelines as needed.
- Identify lessons learned to enhance efficiency in future acquisitions.
Training & Collaboration
- Train acquired design teams on newly developed ECAD and data management processes.
- Provide training and support to users on effectively utilizing Altium 365 features and ECAD software.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize ECAD workflows and design processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of ECAD training programs.
- Maintain thorough documentation for ECAD standards, libraries, and user guides.
Required Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience with Altium.
- 3–5 years of experience with Altium 365.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field.
- Strong technical proficiency in ECAD data management, with a deep understanding of quality ECAD data practices.
- Demonstrated experience in R&D, New Product Development, and working with supply chain and third-party vendors.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex ECAD data remediation challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adaptable to various audiences.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Altium Designer Advanced Certification.
- Altium 365 Certification.
Additional Information:
