About the role:
Boston Scientific is seeking a highly skilled marketer with a customer-centric mindset who is passionate about the creation and deployment of omnichannel campaigns to drive awareness, engagement and adoption of products and therapies in support of the Cardiology Group.

This individual is part of the Customer Experience team and must develop/advance their understanding of ethnographic, demographic, psychographic and behavioral-based customer attributes to activate campaign strategies that align to the target audience as well as the priorities and goals of the business.

The Senior Product Manager will be self-directed but must be able to influence cross-functional, cross-divisional & commercial teams so they can deliver programs and initiatives across multiple measurable channels (digital, events, sales enablement, PR and traditional mediums). 

This person must manage campaign plans from inception through implementation and set expectations, requirements, budgets and timelines in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Strategy, Global, Product, Brand, Digital, Events, Creative Integration, Corporate & Scientific Communications, Clinical Trials, Medical Affairs & Education, R&D, Legal & Regulatory and external vendor partners.

 

Your responsibilities: 

  • Customer Insights: Leverages data and market research to fuel both campaign plan development and maintenance efforts
  • Applies knowledge of customers as well as influencers, focusing on their preferences and content interests to tailor engagement strategies
  • Campaign Plans: Creates comprehensive, integrated, omnichannel plans and programs
  • Develops customer journeys; declares segmentation and touchpoints
  • Engages field sales and leadership for synergistic plans to align with closed-loop sales and marketing efforts
  • Content Expertise: Partners with Content Strategy, Creative Integration and Digital/Channel Partners to source and proliferate content for execution across all phases of the customer journey 
  • Guides messaging theme identification and development for all aspects of the channel plan 
  • Responsible for content accuracy across all assets; upholds brand promise as well as legal & regulatory guidelines
  • Campaign Performance: Collaborates with measurement teams and stakeholders to synthesize metrics related to performance and optimization
  • Fosters and builds high-converting demand generation programs to complement field sales efforts
  • Evaluates and assesses key competition through in-market activities
  • Quality System Requirements: Demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and other documented quality processes and procedures
  • Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific

 

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of B2B omnichannel program/campaign design, development and oversight experience, preferably directly employed by – or at an agency supporting – highly regulated companies in the healthcare (pharma/medical device/biotech) industries
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, execute and project manage fully integrated, portfolio-driven plans that align with measurable goals
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence key stakeholders without direct authority
  • BS required, preferably in marketing, communications or related field
  • Position requires ~30% travel (some international included)

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • KOL engagement and experience preferred
  • Channel and/or marketing association engagement, participation and leadership preferred
  • MBA preferred
