About the role:

As a member of the Global Enterprise Excellence team, the Sr. Technical Project Manager partners with organizational stakeholders to execute technical projects that enhance productivity, solve complex challenges, and optimize processes to drive high-impact initiatives that contribute to operating income and gross margin improvements. This role works across all divisions, functions, and regions to improve customer and employee experience through the adoption of technology.

 

Work Mode

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a Hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our Arden Hills, MN, Maple Grove, MN OR Marlborough, MA office at least 3 days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading enterprise-wide projects to improve business outcomes, productivity, and leverage digital solutions to deliver measurable results; report progress to key decision-makers
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to execute improvement plans, including voice of customer activities, data analysis, process mapping, and change management
  • Collaborating with leaders to devise and implement continuous improvement strategies, while fostering a culture of ongoing process enhancement through best practices and tools
  • Engaging stakeholders to identify key improvement opportunities; form teams to drive initiatives
  • Leading workshops to brainstorm for solutions; use process and technology capabilities to resolve challenges and roadblocks
  • Advocating for process improvements across all functions and ensure alignment with organizational goals; identify opportunities to enhance efficiency using intelligent automation
  • Driving cross-functional collaboration to refine global best practices; document methodologies, toolkits, and guidebooks

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of experience implementing technical/software projects in a business environment
  • Experience managing projects with effective change management and workshop facilitation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% (globally).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • In depth experience leveraging Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial and consultative mindset
  • Proven track record of working with executive-level stakeholders and influencing strategic initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving skills; analytical and process-driven
  • Effective leadership skills with ability to drive and influence change and performance cross-functionally 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain relationships on all levels
  • Financial acumen with ability to correlate improvements to financial results

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
