About the role:
Boston Scientific is seeking a dynamic and strategic Strategic Process Improvement Lead to join our Commercial Services organization. In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for analyzing enterprise-wide commercial operations and identifying transformational opportunities that enable Boston Scientific to scale more efficiently than revenue growth.

This role requires a strong business mindset, a deep understanding of global commercial processes, and the ability to lead change through influence. You will collaborate across divisions and functions, leveraging emerging technologies and innovative operating models to create long-term strategic value.

As a member of the Commercial Services team, you will help shape the future of how Boston Scientific operates—driving sustainable growth, enhancing agility, and contributing to our mission of transforming lives through innovative medical solutions.

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Your responsibilities will include:

Enterprise process analysis & opportunity identification
• Analyze end-to-end commercial operations across regions and business units
• Identify inefficiencies, duplications, and non-value-added activities
• Recommend enterprise-level improvements aligned with operational scalability and cost optimization

Business case development & stakeholder influence
• Develop robust business cases with cost-benefit analysis, risk assessments, and projected impact
• Present recommendations to cross-functional leadership and senior stakeholders
• Influence and align decision-makers by communicating the strategic value and feasibility of proposed initiatives

Program & change leadership
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to centralize and streamline commercial processes
• Prioritize projects based on enterprise impact and strategic goals
• Manage project plans, resource coordination, risk mitigation, and internal communications
• Serve as a change agent to foster stakeholder engagement and adoption across the enterprise

Innovation & strategic enablement
• Stay current on emerging technologies including AI, RPA, and advanced data analytics
• Identify and pilot new tools that improve scalability and efficiency in Commercial Services
• Collaborate with IT and innovation teams to implement digital capabilities that drive transformation

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in process improvement, business transformation, or commercial operations
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise-level process initiatives with measurable outcomes
• Proven ability to build business cases and influence cross-functional and executive stakeholders
• Strong understanding of commercial operations in a matrixed, global organization
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinker with a transformation mindset and customer-centric approach
• Technologically savvy and experienced with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, and AI-enabled platforms

Preferred qualifications:
• MBA or relevant master’s degree
• Experience in a commercial function within the healthcare, life sciences, or technology industry
• PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification
• Comfortable working through ambiguity and leading through influence in a complex environment

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
