About the role:
Supports the planning, development, implementation, and operations of applications, computers, peripherals, and telephony devices for internal customers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Organizes and performs Installation, Move, Add, and Changes (IMAC) of applications, computers, phones and other hardware.
- Troubleshoots and repairs issues related to phones, computers, peripherals, printers, applications, and Operating Systems.
- Creates and maintains database entries in Remedy Asset Management to accurately track Information Technology assets, and monitors and maintains work or repair requests in the Remedy incident management system.
- Plans, tests, and partners in the roll-out of new applications, hardware, Operating Systems, and infrastructure equipment.
- Performs hardware and software compatibility tests for monthly/quarterly security patching, application, and Operating System updates.
- Maintains, develops, and installs network infrastructure equipment and implements necessary changes.
- Provides guidance and technical expertise for users related to system or software-related purchases and provides ad-hoc user training and instruction on computer hardware and applications.
- May be responsible for server administration, storage back-up, and other data center activities as needed.
Required qualifications:
- 3 years of experience with an Associate in Arts degree/diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year working experience in manufacturing IT/OT support space within a regulated medical device environment
- Proven tracking record for supporting weekend shift independently with limited resources available.
- Experience for troubleshooting Windows XP SP3 LTSC through Windows 11 Operating Systems
- Able to perform motherboard, hardware component diagnosis, repair, replacement and system imaging.
- Admin level experience on Microsoft Acronis, SCCM, Symantec ITMS, VMware ESxi
- User level experience on different virtual machine admin work, including Azure,
- Basic level understanding of Linux/Unix OS, Installation, deployment, testing, troubleshooting most versions. Able to perform coding script such as Python and C.
- Working level experience on networking with cross platform technologies: Cisco switches, APC PDUs, routers, AP nodes.
