About the role:  
This Systems Engineer II will play an important role in creating technology enhancements to wearable medical devices that meet customer and market demands in the rapidly growing and evolving remote patient monitoring marketplace.  



Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead projects to maintain existing wearable medical deice portfolio and create all-new product offerings
  • Play a leadership role in the selection and interaction with external development partners and suppliers
  • Frequent communications with external suppliers and vendors
  • Maintain Design History File documentation (Prints, Work Instructions, FMEAs, etc.) for equipment in the Preventice product portfolio
  • Work effectively with a cross-functional project team through all phases of the new product development process
  • Orchestrate new product performance Verification and Validation test activities
  • Adhere to standards set forth by the Preventice and Boston Scientific Quality Management Systems
  • Other duties as assigned



Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Master’s degree
  • Product development engineering experience (preferred in medical device industry); can include prior internship experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical writing skills to facilitate generation of project-related documentation
  • Excellent organization skills and capable of multi-tasking
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated project management experience



Preferred qualifications: 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Able to write well-constructed reports that support conclusions with facts
  • Experience with supplier interaction / vendor management
  • Strong ambition and appetite to learn
  • Team player with a desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
