About the role:

Boston Scientific believes that to grow our business, we must grow our people.  With that as context, the Global Service Owner for Manager Development will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of enterprise initiatives related to developing manager level talent at BSC.  They will partner with colleagues and business clients to determine strategic priorities in these areas and execute on solutions which meet those needs. BSC is looking for a strong and credible Talent Management Leader who is passionate and driven to build and engrain a culture of development at Boston Scientific.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Bring Subject Matter Expertise on leader development to the function to shape the scalable global policies, processes, tools and programs. 
  • Provide thought leadership proactively within assigned areas and with broader Enterprise Talent Management.
  • Obtain regular feedback and perform needs assessments from stakeholders, consider requests for changes and new products.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and new design needs.
  • Own the “product roadmap” for manager development and lead the execution of projects in conjunction with PMO.
  • Manage the governance process for assigned area including:
  • Clear global and local design guidelines
  • Alignment among applicable stakeholders
  • Lead change management and stakeholder communication for product areas.
  • Determine applicable metrics and scorecard, review them at least quarterly and communicate to key stakeholders.
  • Help to foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. 
  • Travel up to 20%. 


Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 7 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred. 
  • Subject Matter Expert in leader development with demonstrated skills in design and delivery, talent assessments, and facilitation.
  • Large scale project/program management experience
  • Advanced assessment/Voice of customer data collection and analysis experience
  • Policy and program design experience
  • Ability to communicate complex HR concepts and products to a diverse and broad audience range (HR, non-HR, different cultures, different levels, etc.)
  • Competency in Global Perspective, Customer Focus, Influence, Execution, Communication, Collaboration
