About the role:

Responsible for the management of the newly created Electrophysiology Farapulse product support team. Will be responsible for working cross-functionally to create the vision for this support service and build the foundation to support timely product inquiry support and clinical issue escalation processes. Provides direction and guidance to exempt and non-exempt personnel and evaluates performance of direct reports and supports career development activities. Oversees the telephone consultation process to customers, ensuring prompt and technically accurate responses to field calls to maintain confidence in Boston Scientific products and promote ongoing product improvement. Ensures training is delivered to internal and external customers, and provides technical and clinical product support to supporting departments, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Legal, and others as needed.

  • Recruits, coaches and develops organizational talent.

  • Builds strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Develops and executes organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills.
  • Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.).
  • Makes decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve department objectives.
  • Develops, monitors and appropriately adjusts the annual budget for department(s).

 

What we’re looking for:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of technical management experience within the medical device industry, specific to implantable devices  
  • Proven experience managing a team of 10+ employees

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading different change management initiatives
  • Experience in Electrophysiology, preferably with the Farapulse product
