About This Role:

You’ll develop automated electrical test software and systems used in the production of medical devices.  You’ll provide support for electrical test software and systems in our production areas.

 

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Work cross-functionally with manufacturing and product development teams from creation of test requirements, to design, development, and deployment of electrical test software and systems.
  • Develop hardware and fixturing to make connection to the device-under-test.
  • Provide technical support to customers on various manufacturing lines (troubleshooting of test systems and software). 
  • Develop test applications that ensure design specifications are met through the various stages of the manufacturing process. 
  • Work on project teams and collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Ensure test systems and software developed follow BSC and regulatory processes and procedures.

 

 

What We’re Looking For In You:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field required.
  • 3+ years Test Engineering experience, including design, documentation, and validation of test systems and software.
  • 1+ years of LabVIEW programming experience. 
  • Fundamental knowledge of programming instrumentation and hardware used in testing of electrical subassemblies and devices.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with electrical test and DAQ instrumentation (National Instruments, Keysight, etc.).  
  • Experience with instrument communication protocols (GPIB, PXI, etc.).
  • Understanding of test sequencing tools.
  • Understanding of parametric and functional test concepts and strategies.
  • Experience with software configuration and control tools.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects
