People Partner Greece & Czech Republic

(HR Business Partner)

Purpose statement:

Advise and coach EMEA people leaders and employees to drive workforce performance, providing support in the areas of talent, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness.

 

Your responsibilities include:

 

EMEA HR Advisory

  • Participate in HR projects/events and programs as well as improvement initiatives and business events (i.e., M&A activities).
  • Support cyclical processes (i.e., Performance and Development Coaching (PDC) (Talent Review, Calibration), Compensation Management System (CMS), etc.).
  • Manage and execute complex processes and programs (e.g., career & succession planning, etc.).
  • Advise and consult on Global/EMEA policies and programs (e.g., global mobility, development assignment, service awards, compensation consulting and review, etc.).
  • Participate in flex pools to deliver HR/Business projects.

 

Local HR advisory

  • Provide feedback (specific to different countries) on HR policies, processes, and programs to HR Business Partners (HRBP)and Center of Excellence (CoEs).
  • Drive the deployment of HR services that are required to be executed at a local level such as Employee labor relations, disciplinary and investigation activities, long-term sickness, performance review (PIPs), supporting work council consultations (severance packages), etc.
  • Collaborate with CoEs and HR Service Delivery (HRSD) roles on recruitment, local development, training, and facilitation (e.g., onboarding sessions, insights session, new leader assimilations, etc.).
  • Partner with Managers and the CoE in developing & running assessment centres and interviewing for senior profiles (managers and above).
  • Collaborate with CoEs to facilitate & cascade local HR communications in the appropriate language.

 

Manager & employee coaching

  • Advise & coach managers regarding complex HR topics providing front-line support in the areas of talent, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and change management.
  • Deliver high-quality HR advisory to people leaders and enable them to strengthen their people leadership skills.
  • Acts as a reference within HR and for other People Partners (PP) on some specific HR-related topics such as career coaching, conflict resolution, etc. for which they develop stronger expertise (excluding legal topics).
  • Provide employee coaching in complex situations related to building relationships, career paths, etc.

 

Case Management

  • Receive and handle complex escalations for sensitive HR topics or exceptions (e.g., performance, behavioural, management issues, etc.).
  • Make recommendations to the PP Lead on gaps in levels of efficiency.

 

Who we are looking for:


 

  • 4/5 years professional Human Resource experience as HR Specialist/ HRBP
  • Educational background within Human Resources or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience in HR processes, tools and working methods according to work focus – recruitment processes, competence development, trainings
  • Vast knowledge of Greek labour law, (Czech labor law would be an asset)
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate confidently and clearly with various audiences both verbally and in writing
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Successful experience in supporting operational HR for hybrid organization.
  • Successful experience with a strong social relations dimension
  • Experience in matrix/complex environment
  • Experience in managing labour relations and negotiating with employee unions.
