ABOUT THE ROLE
Boston Scientific’s Associate Territory Manager (ATM) is a role designed to prepare candidates to become a Territory Manager within the Endoscopy Division. The ATM will be assigned to a region in which there is significant potential to convert and grow the business. ATMs will be held accountable to delivering exceptional service through team driven directives, revenue impact, clinical education needs, and execution of new business opportunities that reflect the company’s strategy and priorities. The role works collaboratively across Territory Managers within their region to provide support and drive sales revenue at identified accounts as directed by the commercial leaders of the Endoscopy business. Each ATM will report directly to a Commercial Manager who will support their development and help them navigate their new role. This position does not guarantee a future territory assignment but offers significant growth and learning opportunities within a supportive and team-oriented environment.

This may include an overnight stay on the 13 October due to flight times. All costs will be covered by Boston Scientific. WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Build strong customer relationships through routine visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, product in-services, procedural observation, and problem resolution. Relationships will be established with Physicians, Nurses, Technicians, Materials Management, Hospital Administration, and Infection Control.
- Successfully complete the Endoscopy training program within the allocated timeframe and apply these skills in the field and possess a growth mindset to continuously be learning to build towards a high level of technical and market knowledge on an ongoing basis
- Procedural support in an intense Operating Theatre / Endoscopy unit environment daily
- Work collaboratively with Territory managers to execute the regional business directives
- Coordinate and execute product evaluations, including collating Physician and nurse evaluation reports
- Support on revenue generating projects and goals to support account ownership
- Work closely with Territory Managers and Region Sales Managers to evaluate business conditions and sales trends
- Work closely with Commercial Managers and Region Sales Managers to develop quarterly/annual business plans to achieve revenue targets in allocated regions
- Assist in professional education activities sponsored by BSC, both on-site and field training workshops.
- Provide timely updates to Commercial Managers and Regional Manager on ongoing business activities, competitive conditions, industry trends, etc.
- Manage personal expense budget and promotional budget within guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of sales expenses, customer files and field sales reports required.
- Submit any required administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
- Conduct all sales activities according to Travel & Entertainment (T&E) guidelines, BSC Policies, and Integrity Policies.
- Participate in occasional weekend and evening trade show and/or meeting participation, with significant state-wide travel outside of assigned region
- Work with the broader Endoscopy team to identify training, research and engagement opportunities for new and existing customers.
- Maintain all company assets, including assigned inventory, in good order and in accordance with BSC audit and process requirements.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Thorough understanding of B2B sales techniques with a desire to learn and utilise new sales techniques and methodologies, ideally with min 2+ years experience of B2B sales
- An interest in the medical devices industry or prior experience in a healthcare adjacent position
- Prior experience collaborating within large / remote teams
- Experience building and maintaining strong relationships
- Prior success working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Results focused with a resilient, flexible approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Tertiary education in science, health care or business or related fields
