Responsibilities:

  • Fully developed professional, recognized as a technical and selling expert.  Able to tackle complex issues, comprehensive business knowledge of Capital sale in medical device industry (BSC and competitors).
  • Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
  • Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory without appreciable direction.
  • Independently plan and develop market for existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc).
  • Support the PI lines of business and help organization achieve the desired sales objectives
  • Work cooperatively with respective Sales personnel for comprehensive and optimum coverage and equipment bundling opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with customers, conducting his or herself in a professional and responsible manner at all times.
  • Conduct customer seminars, product demonstrations and in-service programs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct analysis of competitor activities, customer needs, technology and infrastructure, therapy adoption etc. relevant to PI products in-country in order to analyze impact of market conditions, guide local franchise operations teams, report back to the regional team & highlight possible modifications to the regional/ franchise marketing plans.
  • Work with service engineer/s to sign AMC/CMC with all installations and help generate revenue stream especially for AngioJet/Cryoablation/RF-300/Jetstream
  • Drive applications & penetrations of assigned equipment primarily in all BSC installations in a planned way as per targets. This will include training account manager/s, technicians, and physicians.
  • Provide technical support for clinical equipment throughout healthcare system as assigned, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, maintaining parts inventories, performing rounds in customer areas, and participating in on-call rotation.
  • Involve in clinical discussion with the respective Physicians like Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologist regarding the technical specifications  of the capital equipment.
  • Establish relationships with KOLs in the field; Identify key Physician champions for franchise; Develop support structure and relationship with sales representatives and sales management.
  • Assist the marketing team in formulating strategies, tactics and action plans in support of corporate objectives.
  • Develop and implement marketing programs according to plan and budget. Plan and implement product launches. Monitors sales performance and effectiveness of marketing programs against goals set.
  • Work with the team to identify opportunity in potential accounts as defined in strategic map for capital equipment and work with all stake holders to close the deals.
  • Work closely with the tender management team to ensure that we can lock in tenders with our specifications and win.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or sciences and at least 5 years of medical device and capital equipment sales experience.
  • Track record of quota attainment selling large deals to high-level decision-makers.
  • Existing relationships within the healthcare hospital industry/ KOLs’
  • Understanding of how to respond to complex tenders.
  • Proven business analysis and judgment with the ability to proactively manage business and P&L to meet objectives.
  • Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare and regulatory requirements and issues.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of management including CFO, CIO, CEO, CMO.
  • A solid understanding of the patient monitoring market; including trends, technologies, products, and players.
  • Clinical aptitude in cardiopulmonary, critical care, and cardiovascular surgery medicine.
