Responsibilities
The Associate Territory Manager is responsible for driving the adoption and sales of Apollo medical devices by working closely with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and distributors. The role focuses on building clinical partnerships, supporting product training, and expanding market penetration:
- Apollo Endosurgery technologies such as Apollo OverStitch Endoscopic Suturing System and Orbera Intragastric Balloon System.
- SpaceOar
- Lumenis portfolio
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Promote and sell key products/portfolio to hospitals, endoscopy centers, bariatric clinics, Urologists and Radiologists.
- Develop new business opportunities and expand existing accounts within the assigned territory.
- Achieve sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
KOL Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in gastroenterology, bariatric surgery, and minimally invasive surgery.
- Support KOLs during clinical cases, workshops, and training programs.
- Conduct workshops to support and promote therapy.
- Train and certify new users based on BSX requirements (simulator, case attendance, wet lab etc.).
- Facilitate clinical education and share best practices for procedures using Apollo OverStitch Endoscopic Suturing System.
- Collaborate with KOLs on clinical adoption, publications, and conference presentations.
Distributor Management
- Work closely with distributor to ensure effective product promotion and market coverage.
- Train distributor sales teams on product features, clinical applications, and procedural workflow.
- Monitor distributor performance, sales forecasting, and inventory planning.
- Provide technical and clinical support during product demonstrations and procedures.
Clinical & Technical Support
- Provide in-theatre / procedure support to physicians using Apollo devices.
- Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for healthcare professionals.
- Ensure correct product usage and adherence to regulatory and safety guidelines.
Market Development
- Identify new market opportunities to expand new users and market.
- Participate in medical congresses, workshops, and hospital events.
- Gather market feedback and competitive intelligence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related field.
- 5 years experienced in medical device sales, preferably in endoscopy, gastroenterology, urology or other surgical devices.
- Experience working with KOLs and hospital stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and clinical communication skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently for hospital visits, procedures, and training.
