Senior Tender Specialist, Commercial Excellence

The Commercial Ops -Tender Specialist is responsible for supporting commercial execution with a strong focus on tender lifecycle management and tender-related commercial operations in Thailand. The role enables country commercial teams by delivering standardized, high-quality operational support across tender planning, submission, tracking, analytics, and post-award execution.

This role works closely with country commercial, finance, supply chain, and regional ComEx teams to ensure disciplined tender execution, data-driven decision making, and compliance with pricing, governance, and quality requirements. The role operates as a key operational partner to the Thailand commercial team while aligning with APAC Growth Markets Commercial Excellence standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Tender Operations & Lifecycle Management (Thailand)

  • Manage and support the end-to-end tender lifecycle for Thailand, including tender identification, planning, submission coordination, award tracking, and post-award execution support.
  • Maintain tender calendars, trackers, and governance documentation to ensure on-time, accurate, and compliant tender submissions.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of tender inputs.
  • Support tender pricing analysis, bid scenarios, and margin assessments in line with approved pricing and discount governance.
  • Track tender outcomes, win/loss reasons, and fulfillment status; provide structured insights to commercial leadership.

2. Commercial Operations Execution

  • Execute core commercial operations processes to support country commercial teams, with primary focus on tender-related activities.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of commercial data related to tenders, contracts, pricing, and volumes.
  • Support contract documentation, tender amendments, and renewal processes in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as an operational point of contact for tender-related queries from internal teams.
3. Commercial Analytics & Reporting
  • Generate and maintain tender-related dashboards, reports, and trackers (e.g., pipeline, awarded tenders, consumption, variance vs award).
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reliability of tender and commercial reporting.
  • Provide regular insights on tender performance, execution gaps, supply risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) with tender analytics, execution status, and key risks/issues.

4. Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement

  • Support standardization of tender management processes in alignment with APAC Growth Markets Commercial Excellence frameworks.
  • Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and efficiency improvement across tender operations.
  • Support adoption of centralized tools (e.g., CRM, trackers, analytics platforms) for tender visibility and governance.
  • Document tender processes, SOPs, and best practices to improve consistency and execution discipline.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Support
  • Work closely with Thailand Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Care teams to ensure smooth tender execution.
  • Partner with APAC / SEA Country Cluster ComEx and Sales Operations teams to align local tender operations with regional standards.
  • Support communication and coordination across functions to resolve tender-related issues and execution bottlenecks.
6. Governance, Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure all tender and commercial activities comply with company policies, pricing governance, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for tenders and contracts.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety, product quality, and ethical business practices in all activities.
  • Promote adherence to Quality System, EHS, and Energy policies relevant to the role.

 

Key Requirements

 

  • 5+ years of relevant experiences and proven results in commercial excellence with a focus on end-to-end delivery in SFE and operational areas.
  • Strong business acumen, business and commercial experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or a related field. Multi country experience is a plus.
  • Sound application skills (PPT, Excel, Word, Project)
  • Experience in BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, SQL) to derive insights from a complex raw data is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in both verbal and written English at all levels
