Key Responsibilities

• Determines the airworthiness of the aircraft through inspections and/or repairs and provides the necessary maintenance release for flights.
• Supervises activities of maintenance personnel (including third party vendors) assigned to inspect/repair aircraft.
• Responsible for the technical aspects of maintenance activities, including completing and overseeing corrective actions on aircraft discrepancies.
• Provides quality control by determining that work completed by other maintenance personnel is proper and complete.
• Manages inventory of parts to ensure effective and efficient maintenance and repair activities.
• Functions as an engineer on international flights, including responsibility for cabin safety.
• Ensures all aircraft maintenance actions are in accordance with FAA regulations, industry standards, and Manufacturers'’ and Company Maintenance Manual guidelines.
• Works closely with the Aircraft Maintenance Manager and other maintenance personnel in servicing, repairing, and inspecting aircraft and engines to ensure that the aircraft are airworthy.
• Communicates with crewmembers and management personnel regarding aircraft discrepancies.
• Attends training to maintain licensing requirements.
