To engage customers, deliver outstanding customer experiences and strengthen the Boston Scientific brand, the Integrated Marketing Communications EMEA Team designs and implements integrated multichannel marketing communication campaigns to deliver the right content to customers through online and offline channels along the customer journey.

The Integrated Marketing Communications Principal – Growth Emerging Markets reports to the Group Manager, Marketing Excellence – GEM, EMEA and joins a passionate, collaborative, and creative team.


Main Responsibilities

  • In support of business priorities, lead the development of the annual communication plan and integrated marketing communication programs for campaigns, product launches, and solutions.
  • Define and implement communication plans with clear deliverables, milestones, accountabilities, and measures of success that are needed to accomplish business objectives and inform future projects.
  • Lead creative and designs, in line with Boston Scientific’s brand standards, and act as brand ambassador.
  • Master the translation of value propositions into stories through compelling storytelling.
  • Lead the creation of dynamic content and assets fit for multichannel publishing,
  • Efficiently manage content along the content life cycle by leveraging tools, technologies, operating models, and standard processes.
  • Manage creative, copywriting, and translation vendors, in compliance with Boston Scientific’s policies.
  • Support the management of the communications budget.
  • Successfully collaborate with key partners in GEM and EMEA and demonstrate excellence in creating synergies, cross-fertilization, and continuous improvement.
  • In close collaboration with GEM divisional Marketing Managers and EMEA IMC teams leverage/localize existing and create new content and messaging in alignment with regulation and internal policies. Lead creative and designs, in line with Boston Scientific’s brand standards, and act as brand ambassador.
  • Implement the new EMEA content strategy and act as an ambassador in GEM.
  • Evaluate processes to continuously improve efficiency, effectiveness, and/or audience experience. Generate new ideas using creativity and critical thinking to enhance ways of working, implement new ideas in a sustainable way which supports a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.



Requirements and Competencies

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experiences in Integrated Marketing Communications (B2B or B2C).
  • Based in Turkey, Lebanon or South Africa.
  • Proficiency level of English (any additional GEM language is a plus).
  • Solid experiences in Integrated Marketing Communications and brand management.
  • Drive excellence in communication through storytelling by translating story visions and value propositions into practical and specific content, messages and activities that engage internal and external audiences.
  • Influence channel mix and integration by enabling the most appropriate channel mix to engage customers, and by integrating and utilizing analytics and technology to deliver a seamless, engaging customer experience.
  • Lead innovative advancement by generating new ideas, methods, and solutions. Continuously use imagination, creativity and critical thinking to solve problems. Seek new approaches, ways of working and innovations to improve the customer experience and further differentiate BSC.
  • Demonstrate the discipline of planning, prioritizing, executing and monitoring projects and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe, standard and budget. Manage and optimize resources, finances and risks; drive the implementation of the strategy by communicating between functions, departments, roles and activities.
  • Apply business experience, expertise and relationship skills to influence stakeholders. Demonstrate understanding of the formal and informal organization by building partnerships that promote stakeholder action, even without direct authority. Partner with and advise business stakeholders to enable meaningful communications, consistent with company values.
