Key Responsibilities:

You will have responsibility of handling all Growth Emerging Markets inventory related day to day inventory activities:

  • Actively following up on Inventory levels ensuring product availability, safety stocks calculation & classification, days on hand overview and back-orders’ status.
  • Work hand in hand with demand and supply planning teams, managing different versions for a network of + 8 K SKUs at different distribution centres in the region.
  • Lead the resolution of Inventory sync issues, work with IT and SAP BPL teams to address reporting and ensure proper controls.
  • Collaborates with Channel partners on pipeline inventory targets and reorder points, proactively optimizing downstream demand signals.
  • Work closely to share expected product recovery dates and ensure this is well communicated throughout the organization.
  • Issuance and maintenance of SOPs related to inventory management processes.
  • Devising ways to optimize inventory control procedures.
  • Lead Inventory Synchronization daily / weekly and monthly activities across the region.
  • Handling & lead 3PL WMS required inventory reporting.
  • Working with Quality on Handling Inventory Quality release/hold controls-COA’s, product damages.
  • Short date monitoring, controls & reporting.
  • Local kitting inventory reconciliation activities & controls.
  • Support Cycle Counts and wall to wall counts across the region.
  • Recommend IT improvements that ensures accurate & reconciled inventory.

 

 

Experience, skills & proficiencies required:

This role operates within a complex SKU environment so experience of managing multiple SKU’s is essential, in addition;

  • BSc/BA in business administration, Logistics or relevant field.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Excel is required.
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), APICS – Preferred but not essential
  • Due to the importance of this opportunity we need someone to have operated for a number of years at Inventory lead level or above
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Puts the customer first – driven to provide an excellent customer experience
  • Able to handle sophisticated Inventory processes and analysis.
