Purpose Statement
Core objective of this role is to support the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Division they represent.  To aid the achievement of customer satisfaction and business growth through focused business planning.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop an in depth knowledge of the products and services provided by the division.
  • Visit customers and / or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with your Manager.
  • Managing of existing and acquiring of new customers in the assigned territory.
  • Consequently planning and developing the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment etc.).
  • Ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the cathlabs.
  • Competent contact person for hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.
  • Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • Analyze and report to your Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools (e.g. AMS, etc.).
  • To represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.
  • Participate in development of less experienced staff members.

Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.  Interprets, executes and recommends modifications to company policies. Assists in establishing departmental policies and procedures. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Establishes and cultivates a wide range of business relationships to facilitate completion of assignments. May interact with vendors. Participates in determining goals and objectives for projects. May lead projects within the function or department and/or represents a specialized field in larger project teams. Influences middle management on business solutions.

Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects.  Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Bachelor's degree or degree in Administrative Careers, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering or similar
  • Office at user level, advanced Excel & Power Point (pivot tables, macros desirable), Salesforce, Tableau
  • At least 2 or 3 years of experience working with key accounts (Distributors & Integrators).
  • English (Advanced level) spoken and written.
  • This position requires 20% of travel.
  • Proven analytical, planning and negotiation skills, as well as strategic thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Execute territory sales plans and strategy in line with the Business Unit Strategy to maintain and develop existing and acquire new customers.
  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
  • Responsible for looking for opportunities to increase market share and positioning the brand in South Territory from Mexico City
  • Develops and executes action plan for each customer based on customer business plans.
  • Delivers sales and distribution targets in territory (Medica Sur & Nutricion Hospital is going to be one of their principal accounts).
  • Experience in public sector management and experience in tenders 
  • Coordinates with the back-office team (Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, Finance etc..) to resolve customer requests.
  • Executes key account plans to develop different therapies in collaboration with the Field Clinical Specialist of the territory.
  • Negotiate and processes customer orders to achieve quota.
