About the Role

 

The Endobariatrics Field Clinical Specialist (FCS) provides day to day account management and clinical case support and education for Endobariatrics and Closure products and accounts based in Mexico City. Setting objectives and opportunities to drive sales growth for their product portfolio together with their peer colleagues and manager. FCS will provide guidance, training, and advice in the mentioned therapies, also assist physicians during procedures. In this role, FCS will be the first point of contact for Endobariatrics and the main responsible for the development of the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Mapping of accounts and knowledge of users and potential professionals to develop in Endobariatrics and Closure.
  • Supports Manager in understanding each account’s unmet needs and expectations, to facilitate an account strategy and execution of product developments and trainings.
  • Supported by Endobariatrics Manager, in strategic accounts, the FCS contributes to the development of annual strategic plan by providing detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope (e.g., market size and potential, market / products trends, business opportunities, competitive landscape, updated clinical and economic stakeholders).
  • Identifies, manages, and reports the sales opportunity deriving from clinical support; consequently, supporting in clinical selling based on clinical support information provided.
  • Assist and guide doctors in Endobariatric and closure procedures.
  • Performs procedural training, provides clinical support and therapy development, and consequently manages clinical evaluation. Delivers excellent product in-servicing and product evaluations and ultimately secure BSC market share.
  • Attends and actively participates in customer, company and industry sponsored events and meetings, with a strategic and productivity mindset. ​
  • Leads on sales opportunities and develops and implements a proactive plan that involves all supporting functions.
  • Presentation of quarterly reports on the development of the region and needs regarding its growth.

 

What we are Looking For in you

 

Required qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical engineering or related field. 

  • At least 3-5 years as clinical specialist or sales executive in Medical Devices.  

  • Based in Mexico City. 

  • Having worked for a multinational will be considered a plus. 

  • Comfortable working in operating rooms (25-50% of the time). 

  • Proactive and innovative team member that thrives working autonomously with remote leadership. 

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. 

  • Understanding demand generation value on hospital ecosystem.  

  • Willingness to travel (25-50% of the time). 

  • Customer relationship skills. 

  • Customer focus. 

  • Advance English.
