Position Summary:We are looking for an analytical and policy-driven student to join our Government Affairs team. The primary goal is to support the strategic monitoring of the legislative agenda and the development of institutional positions that strengthen Boston Scientific's presence within the Mexican healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Monitoring: Daily tracking of the legislative and government agenda, focusing on the "Plan México," USMCA (T-MEC) commitments, and public health policies impacting the medical device sector.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on regulatory trends and legal framework changes within the therapeutic areas where Boston Scientific operates.
- Risk & Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify initiatives or changes in public procurement policies that may affect the business.
- Content Generation: Assist in drafting "Position Papers" and institutional documents. Develop value propositions with a focus on Value-Based Healthcare, integrating economic, financial, and clinical impact justifications.
- Digital Innovation: Implement AI tools to optimize the analysis of large datasets and develop innovative methodologies for filtering high-impact information.
- Operational Follow-up: Maintain the tracking matrix for Working Group (WG) initiatives and manage the action log derived from meetings with key stakeholders.
Requirements & Profile:
- Education: Current student (with approximately 2 years remaining until graduation) in Public Policy, Public Administration, Economics, Government, or Political Science.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proactive use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.).
- Languages: English level B1 (Desirable).
- Availability: Morning shift.
