About the role:
Successful candidates will have excellent technical expertise in the areas of systematic literature review, health economics analyses and public healthcare reimbursement. Candidates will exhibit outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to a broad and diverse group of internal and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy analysis methodology, strategy, and execution.
The responsibilities include
- Generate health economic and value proposition strategies, working with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement health economics analyses.
- Work in partnership with commercial teams to plan customer visits to deliver value-selling messages to drive priorities.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and clinical teams to anticipate market needs
- Develop customer-facing tools, economic models, and other tactical elements of reimbursement to maximize patient access to technologies.
- Educate and train the sales team on health economic tools and messaging, both via in-person and virtual meetings.
- Cultivate a wide range of internal business relationships to facilitate task completion.
- Provide guidance to less experienced staff (mentoring).
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Medicine / Economics / Mathematics / Actuarial.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience on generating healthcare economic evaluations.
- Understanding of medical device or pharmaceutical industry reimbursement environment.
- Understanding of public healthcare systems.
- Experience on submissions to Consejo de Salubridad General (CSG) for Compendio Nacional.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated skills in healthcare economic evaluation.
- Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine to meet established schedules.
- Advanced computer literacy (Excel).
- English (advanced level) spoken and written.
Preferred qualifications
- Publication of abstracts and scientific articles or posters.
- Statistical analyses of databases.
- Master’s degree in health economics or related fields.
- Understanding of submissions to IMSS.
- Understanding of the private insurance ecosystem.
