About The Role

The ideal candidate for the Senior Planner (P4) role is a highly analytical, emotionally intelligent, and detail-oriented supply chain professional with a strong background in demand and supply planning. This person must excel in proactive communication, continuous follow-up on supply status, and providing regular visibility to the commercial team about inventory availability and risks. The Senior Planner must demonstrate strong leadership to deliver on key metrics such as healthy inventory, forecast accuracy, backorder reduction, and reserves. They should be confident in constructively challenging forecasts that lack logic, using diplomacy, technical criteria, and sound data analysis to support a balanced decision between cost and service.

Purpose

The Senior Planner (P4) supports the execution of demand and supply planning activities, working closely with commercial, finance, logistics, and regulatory teams to ensure product availability and inventory health. This role involves consolidating and analyzing forecast data, managing imports and replenishment processes, and aligning supply strategies with business goals.

Job Description

  • Manage forecast inputs and continuously improve forecast accuracy by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Maintain healthy inventory levels, avoiding overstock and minimizing short-to-expire and obsolete items.
  • Support the planning of New Product Launches by coordinating with internal stakeholders and monitoring supply plans.
  • Analyze supply and demand trends to ensure product availability and to avoid backorders.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and alignment between planning tools, including SAP and Rapid Response (if applicable).
  • Generate reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy, DIOH, and backorder rates.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to align planning expectations and timelines.
  • Support the execution of local and regional planning processes aligned with corporate S&OP cycles.

Required Skills and Qualifications (Must)

  • >= 5 years of experience in demand and/or supply planning in regulated industries.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data.
  • Proficiency in SAP (planning, logistics modules) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
  • Solid knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including imports and replenishment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and strong follow-up commitments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Participation in cross-functional projects or process improvement initiatives.
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1 level).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)

  • Experience in Medical Devices or other regulated healthcare sectors.
  • Familiarity with Kinaxis Rapid Response or similar advanced planning systems.
  • Experience using Power BI or Tableau for planning visualization.
