In this role, you will be at the core of our supply chain operations, ensuring that critical products move seamlessly across borders while meeting the highest standards of compliance and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include

  • Lead and oversee import and export operations, ensuring smooth execution and full compliance with local and global requirements.
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics processes, working closely with Forwarders, Internal teams, and stakeholders across the supply chain.
  • Prepare and manage key documentation (Invoices, electronic manifests, regulatory filings), always ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Act as a key point of contact with Custom Brokers, supervising their performance and audit customs expenses regularly
  • Supervise HS codes assigned to the product are compliant with local regulation
  • Monitor shipments in transit and proactively address risks to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Identify and implement more efficient transportation strategies, balancing cost, service level, and operational needs.
  • Analyze freight expenses and drive initiatives to optimize costs and improve logistics performance.
  • Stay close to the business, supporting stakeholders with insights and solutions related to import/export operations. 

 

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Foreign Trade, Customs, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in import/export, logistics, or supply chain operations in Healthcare Industry (Medtech or Pharma)
  • Familiar with COFEPRIS processes and applicable regulation
  • Strong understanding of global trade processes. Customs Broker, Forwarders & 3PL management.
  • Experience managing export/import documentation and compliance requirements.
  • B2 – Advanced Intermediate English level
  • Experience working with ERPs as SAP, JDA and data tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actions.

  • Experience within Mexican Customs or Customs-regulated environments.
  • Exposure to regulatory audits and compliance processes.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and innovation.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
