About the role

Helps to drive the LATAM Supply Chain transformation with regards to Logistics, Customer Service and Field Inventory Management thru the execution of local and regional projects/initiatives in alignment with all commercial strategies enabeling sales growth.

 

Your responsibilities include:

 

  • Leads and coordinates projects under the LATAM regional Supply Chain transformation strategy with regards to Customer First, Logistics and Field Inventory.
  • Brings and leads innovation ideas within Supply Chain
  • Automates non-value-added activities to reduce cost, improve efficiencies and to provide better service to internal and external customers
  • Acts as LATAM representative and liaison with Global and Corporate initiatives with regards to Customer First, Logistics and Field Inventory.
  • Interacts with the Country/Regional Operations to support local projects and implementation of global/regional initiatives.
  • Interacts with IT to secure necessary resources allocated to the projects, follow up, report progress, etc .
  • Interacts with commercial teams to support customer segmentation strategies.
  • Works with local and regional suppliers needed for the different initiatives. Negotiates rates, contracts, follow up on progress, etc.
  • Works with external consultants and country/regional operations to periodically review the distribution network to find the optimal location and sizes of warehouses in each country
  • Interacts with Finance to ensure projects/initiatives are on budget and to forecast allocation of expenses.
  • Key local country and local markets knowledge.
  • Interacts and improves the communication with Global and country Supply Chain.
  • Ensure compliance to BSC critical SOPs.


What we are looking for:

  • High Proficiency in English
  • Career: Professional in engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in areas of supply chain
  • Project Mgt experience and/or Certification
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment –
  • Emotional Intelligence - People skills
  • Capacity to influence teams that do not report to him/her
  • Ability to present, communicate and influence up and down in the organization
  • APICS certification (nice to have)
  • Portuguese (nice to have)
