Endoscopy Technician – Field & Customer Experience
Location: Mexico City
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a Senior Endoscopy Technician with a strong service mindset and field presence, who acts as a trusted partner to customers and internal teams. This role goes beyond technical support—it is about ownership, reliability, and relationship building in high-impact clinical environments. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and adaptable, comfortable working directly with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff, and able to anticipate needs, solve problems in real time, and elevate the customer experience during endoscopy procedures and programs. A formal biomedical engineering degree is not required. We value experience, attitude, accountability, and the ability to learn and lead in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary field technical support for endoscopy equipment, systems, and accessories
- Ensure equipment readiness and flawless execution before, during, and after procedures
- Provide on-site support for complex cases, demos, trainings, and humanitarian programs
- Build strong, long-term relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital stakeholders
- Serve as a problem solver and calm presence in high-pressure clinical situations
- Identify recurring issues and proactively propose process or setup improvements
- Coordinate closely with sales, clinical specialists, logistics, and service teams
- Take ownership of equipment logistics, inventory, and field assets
- Represent the company with professionalism, empathy, and credibility at all times
Profile & Experience
Required:
- 2+ years of field experience in medical devices, endoscopy, surgical, or capital equipment
- Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Ability to troubleshoot, adapt, and make decisions under pressure
- Willingness to travel locally and occasionally nationally
- High level of ownership, accountability, and reliability
Preferred (but not mandatory):
- Background in technical service, electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience supporting endoscopy suites, ORs, or advanced procedures
- Familiarity with hospital workflows and sterile environments
- Basic to intermediate English for internal communication
