This role will be instrumental in defining and executing the regional strategy, strengthening distributor partnerships, driving clinical adoption, and ensuring sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute the LATAM business development strategy for the Radiofrequency portfolio, adjusting plans based on healthcare, economic, and competitive dynamics.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic accounts in partnership with local distributors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and reference centers.
• Lead regional commercial initiatives and cross-functional projects, coordinating with Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure clinical excellence through physician and hospital staff education, training, and ongoing support.
• Effectively position and differentiate the portfolio versus competitors, addressing clinical, economic, and value-based decision drivers.
• Develop value-added and economic solutions, supporting contract negotiations with key stakeholders.
• Represent the business at industry congresses, customer forums, and company-sponsored events.
• Act as a role model for Quality, Regulatory, and Compliance, ensuring adherence to corporate policies, local regulations, and the Code of Conduct.
Scope, Expertise & Leadership Expectations
• Bring strong functional and technical expertise, with proven experience managing third-party partners and distributors, and a solid understanding of how cross-functional collaboration drives business performance.
• Leverage expertise to recommend and implement improved processes and ways of working that impact multiple teams or countries within the region.
• Apply strong business and industry best practices, understanding how the role integrates with other functions to drive results.
• Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and market differentiators, translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Act as a resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues and distributor teams.
• Lead cross-functional projects with manageable risk and resource requirements, often at a regional level.
• Independently solve complex and ambiguous business challenges, exercising sound judgment and evaluating multiple alternatives and their impact on the organization.
• Operate with a high level of autonomy within broad guidelines and policies, requiring minimal supervision.
• Drive measurable impact on customer outcomes, operational performance, and key business objectives, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Regularly lead discussions and deliver presentations in cross-functional and external forums, clearly communicating recommendations, risks, and business implications.
Requirements
• Proven experience in Business Development, Strategic Sales, or Marketing within the medical device or healthcare technology industry.
• Strong track record working with distribution models across multiple LATAM markets.
• Deep understanding of clinical, economic, and competitive dynamics in healthcare.
• Ability to influence and engage clinical, economic, and executive decision-makers.
• Strategic, analytical, and results-driven mindset with strong execution capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Latin America.
• Advanced English required; Spanish and/or Portuguese highly desirable.
What We Offer
• Opportunity to lead the growth of an innovative and differentiated technology portfolio in a high-impact region.
• Regional role with strong visibility, autonomy, and cross-functional exposure.
• Collaborative, high-performance environment with a strong commitment to quality, ethics, and compliance.
