Purpose Statement


Provides legal and administrative support to the legal department necessitating a high degree of confidentiality. Has extensive interaction with a majority of Boston Scientific-wide employees and helps provide high quality legal services to all clients while protecting the company's legal assets. Support includes calendar and travel management, telephone and computer support, filing and tracking of legal contracts and documents, mail handling, and maintaining law library materials. Deals with highly sensitive and confidential intellectual property and material related to other legal matters. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as a trusted liaison to company business units helping them improve processes and collaborates in the development of presentations and training materials related to company policies and operating guidelines.
  • Provides support and administrative assistance to business units in the fulfilment of corporate internal policies specifically as it relates to interactions with health care professionals and organizations.
  • Provides support in the development and review of legal & departmental documents (commercial contracts, NDAs, amendments, notices, among others). 
  • Supports data privacy assessments and processes in compliance with local and international regulations and assists in transfer of value reporting obligations.  
  • Performs data analytics, works with and maintains databases and reporting tools.


What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Law degree preferred (any equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered).
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented and diligent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems with autonomy and critical thinking;
  • Knowledge of Data -Privacy regulations, ABL and transfer of value local requirements
  • Proficiency in English
